Native American Health3

-by Bill Watkins 7/29/2017

***

I am Christian Scientist regarding health.  A prayer healer.  And it works.  And it saves me money.  “Religion” plays into my definition of Health.  What about you?  If you would deny God, or a divine involvement in our health, could you at least concede that there are millions of Americans who associate religion and faith with healthy living?

Then government should not dip its hands in non-emergency healthcare.

From the First Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…

From Google:

The First Amendment not only allows citizens the freedom to practice any religion of their choice, but also prevents the government from officially recognizing or favoring any religion.

Our national and congressional obsession with WESTERN MEDICINE’S VERSION OF HEALTH CARE is an overwhelming example of our government’s officially recognizing or favoring the religion some cling to of Western Science and “medical practice.”

I am against it.  I do not want it.  I do not believe in the White Coats; believe instead in prayer, meditation.  I will use a modern bandage, and keep wounds clean—common sense practice.

I will ice a swollen or sore muscle, harkening back to my college volleyball days and awareness of certain therapeutic techniques.

I do not need your western “health care.”  I do not want it.  And it is wrong to use public tax money to fund such a controversial and religion-related matter.

Let’s get back to Roads, Bridges, and National Security.  (Not covert aggression and missiles, but Defense.)

Lawrence O'Donnell, MSNBC, News, Politics

-by Bill Watkins 5/19/2017

Lawrence O'Donnell

Frankly, I’m writing for an old principle brought up in the news this week repeatedly.  When the concept was discussed, it was done so with a negative light about it:

Loyalty.

A next door neighbor to loyalty is gratitude.

And while the suspicious Donald Trump throws the term around like a mob boss seeking favors, MSNBC’s veteran star, Lawrence O’Donnell, deserves the word’s best connotations.

The Last Word’s best.

I started watching Lawrence just this year, I won’t lie.  In fact, Ari Melber was guest hosting his show when I picked up the 10 pm EST slot habit.

Ari was great, a tough act to follow when Lawrence came back from a break, but ever since, I can see why Lawrence has been so successful.

O’Donnell not only engages, but is a consummate team player.  Has humility and grace.  Knowledge of law and policy.  A lawyer’s affinity for argument, goes farther than a moderate would go to make some points—but that is who he is, at MSNBC since their start in 1996!

Goes all the way back to the beginning of the channel.

Why I hope he and they work out a win-win deal for both parties as they discuss contracts this month.  There’s really no reason for someone like me to chime in on an adult’s relationship with other adults.  They will do what they do, but…

Lately in life and in business, I smell so much greed and ADD, that I fear decisions get made not from love but from… Greed and ADD.

The doom of men is that they forget.
—Merlin, Excalibur

Don’t forget, MSNBC.  Don’t forget how you started, and who chipped in, who supported and sacrificed, who does what the team needs to be done, who is an elder statesman who might want to move on on his own terms soon, anyway!!!

Because that is what a team player does.

Lawrence O’Donnell is skilled to be the number one guy somewhere.  But there he is on MSNBC, on deck after that channel’s number one, Rachel Maddow.

He revels in supporting her, is grateful for her skills, and tells her often not just as a newsman should, but as a Nice person anywhere should.

O’Donnell is a smile, a skill, a hobby, a fixture at 10 pm.

Within reason, and under God’s good guidance, I hope that he not greed and ADD, will decide when and how to leave.

The Argument for Impeachment

-by Bill Watkins 5/17/2017 edited 5/18/2017

Collusion Russia Trump1

There are matters under investigation by professionals at the FBI.  Pending matters that will bear in any Trump impeachment argument.

Extent of Trump involvement in coordinating the Russian infiltration of the 2016 U.S. election process is just not known at this time.

What is known?  And is what we know so far enough for an impeachment?

January 4th, 2017:

Dereliction of Duty, Security Breach, Vetting

According to multi-sourced reporting, Michael Flynn attorneys warn the White House transition team that Flynn was under FBI investigation for being an unreported foreign agent.

January 20th, 2017:

Michael Flynn is sworn in as National Security Advisor anyway.

January 27th, 2017:  (https://travelingpoet.net/2017/05/12/the-optics-of-trumps-january-27th/)

1. Dereliction of Duty

*Sally Yates makes a second in-person warning about Michael Flynn, which is ignored by the White House.

*Trump issues an unconstitutional travel ban—an order not likely to be enforced by Yates, allowing Trump “grounds” for firing her the following Monday.

2. Comey Dinner, Tampering with an Ongoing FBI investigation, Possible Obstruction of Justice

*Suspicious Comey/Trump Dinner planned and executed for the evening of January 27th, while travelers are stranded and detained nation-wide due to Trump’s unconstitutional ban unlikely to be enforced by whistleblower AG Sally Yates.

February 14th, 2017:

Obstruction of Justice.

According to a James Comey memo, reported on first by the New York Times just yesterday—Donald Trump pulled his FBI director aside in a personal meeting, asked him to “this this go,” referring to any Michael Flynn investigation.

This was a day after Flynn resigned under the pressure of a Washington Post piece that outed Flynn’s inappropriate talk with Russian ambassador Sergei Kislyac about U.S. sanctions.

March 22nd, 2017:

Nunes Dance – Obstruction/White House Involved

House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes runs around the White House, collecting top secret documents from White House staff, then claiming to inform the White House/Trump on the matter the next day.  (https://travelingpoet.net/2017/03/31/trump-coordination-with-nunes-obvious/)

March 25th, 2017:

Devin Nunes cancels a House Intelligence public hearing scheduled for the following Tuesday, where Sally Yates was due to testify, thwarting the Committee’s investigation into Russian interference with the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and possible coordination between Trump’s campaign and that interference.

April 25, 2017:

According to sourced reporting, Trump reaches out to Michael Flynn, fired since February and still under FBI investigation—tells him to “stay strong.”

May 9th, 2017:

Firing Comey – Obstruction of Justice

Trump fires James Comey, chief investigator into Trump’s campaign.  Lester Holt’s (NBC) May 11th interview reflects Trump’s intent to fire the FBI chief over the Russia/Trump investigation.

May 10th, 2017:

Treason, Dereliction, Mishandling Classified Documents

Trump does a Russian tap-dance in Oval Office with Lavrov and Kislyac.

Trump allegedly gives classified information to the Russians, allows Russian photographers into the meeting, barring U.S. press.

May 16th, 2017:

Comey Memo leaks to the New York Times, more Republicans speaking of the need for an “independent investigator” to handle the Russia case.

Justin Amash (R, Michigan), Walter Jones (R, North Carolina) and Carlos Curbelo (R, Florida) are the first Republicans to talk of possible impeachment proceedings.

When I see lies hurt left and right,
Across party lines equally,
I like to think my president didn’t make them.
But making lies isn’t bad enough—
You have to Act.  Often you must have
Seen DJT’s lies loaded with blaming
Others and advancing his bank account.
They click against each other on Twitter,
One lie after another getting in line
To be the next lie to drive the news story.
Michael Scherer of Time set to interview

Behold:  Devin Nunes is running around the
White House lawn spreading more lies,
Like Easter eggs to spoil the kids a day after

Old tweets:  one says we should not involve
Ourselves in Syria from years ago, surfacing
As 59 missiles are sent to explode an airport
There.  “Who knew health care was so
Complicated?” was such a true statement in the
Form of a question from a gentleman whose
Lack of education and political experience is
Worn as a badge of dishonor, day after day
In the face of p-hats yelling injustice
And sexism.  “Locker room talk” brings

And Turkey, Le Pen—anyone who shows

Build a wall and put it all in Barack Obama’s
Soulful, smiling face.  Tear Hillary down like
Someone who never had a mother.
Fuck you, Donald Trump, and all your
Ignorant hillbilly fans.  God bless us to a
Proper disclosure of your lies, your certain ouster,
And the restoration of dishonest business as usual
In Washington.  We need to pay our debts—the twenty
trillion dollars, the promises we made to
Native American tribes, reparations for
African Americans who descend from unwilling,
Sinful slavery—
And could we kill covert CIA, bring John
F. Kennedy’s murderers to justice, tell the Truth
About All our Sins?  Re-open RFK, MLK,
The bullshit Chapman murder of Lennon with
Clear political pro-Reagan cold war motives.
“Earth is the right place for love,” Frost had
Something there.  “I don’t know where it’s
Likely to go better.”  Indeed.  I wish loud
Helicopter pilots would read that line,
And I guess that’s my Truth, spoon-fed in
Frostian lines to remind us all:
It’s not where you start, it’s where you
Wanna go that’s important.  Dream and do,
But do not do anything over doing something bad.
And do not say anything, over saying
Something untrue—especially from the Oval
Office in Washington.
One could do worse than be Donald Trump,
If he wisens up and clears out of
Politics before he winds up in jail…
And us?  May we pay all our debts, and
Invite the Indian back to the table they
Helped us to set.

CIA’s Inappropriate Twitter Bio Blurb Demonstrates Criminal Tendencies

CIA Bio Blurb

It’s hard to hold down my breakfast, when I look at the cocky, inappropriate, criminal-leaning Twitter bio blurb offered up on CIA’s Twitter profile page:

We are the Nation’s first line of defense.  We accomplish what others cannot accomplish and go where others cannot go.

Observe part two, something we can do in a moment with the official CIA “Mission Statement,” also suspect.  The second part of this bio could be paraphrased while wagging one’s tongue:  “We get to do whatever the heck we want, because we are superior to other people.”

Or:  we don’t have to obey laws and wait out due process, because we are so cool, derived from Yale’s Skull and Bones, darkness, extreme loyalty—naked in dark corners, blessed by the Devil.

Here’s the supposed CIA Mission, posted on their website:

Preempt threats and further US national security objectives by collecting intelligence that matters, producing objective all-source analysis, conducting effective covert action as directed by the President, and safeguarding the secrets that help keep our Nation safe.

Like their Twitter bio, fifty percent good, fifty percent “screw you, we get to do whatever under the veil of ‘secrecy.’”  Fifty percent good, fifty percent who-knows.  Defines the term diabolical.

Since 1947, when Harry S. Truman formalized the founding of CIA with a ruse cloak and dagger ceremony at the White House:  diabolical.  Secretive.  The mafia with omerta, CIA with “classified” and “covert action.”

Truman, who by some accounts, stole his vice presidency from progressive Henry Wallace, became president when FDR died, dropped two nuclear bombs on Japanese civilians:  thought it would be good, even humorous, to legitimate Espionage in the United States.

Seeking international laws and the United Nations disposition to “espionage” is a difficult task;  is as blurry as a snake in the grass.  I have today, sent this note to the United Nations contact email form:

Can someone please direct me to the United Nations disposition on “espionage,” spying, the acquisition and reporting of stolen information through secrecy, covert operations, or theft?

Part of the United States’ CIA’s official “mission statement” includes these words:

“…conducting effective covert action as directed by the President.”

Has the CIA, or any agency of other governments with like missions, been investigated/probed for the meaning of such a “directive,” to ascertain the legality of “covert action” against current international law/UN Charter directives?

The UN was founded to avert war.

How can this happen, when nations who claim to be members admit to secret “covert action” as a part of their day to day operations?

Who will hold the United States accountable for “covert action” and other extrajudicial, unilateral violence perpetrated against other nations, while they Host meetings for peace in New York?

When will the U.S. hypocrisy be called out, investigated, and thwarted for a firmer World Peace, in accordance with UN Charter provisions?

—Bill Watkins, Los Angeles, CA USA

***

God bless us to better.

To Truth, to being proud of who and what we are.

To having first and last names when in government service work; picking up the phone at CIA or anywhere else—proud of who we are.

Not secretive, and spooky.  And shady as the Devil himself.

May our country give up covert ops, and become the democracy it claims to be, some day.

May we become real members of the United Nations; become worthy of being its host.

Amen

How I Became Convinced

-by Bill Watkins 4/26/2017

JFK Flag

Over fifty-nine years have passed since the murder of JFK, and here we are.  To me, the facts are there.  The testimony, the evidence.  All pointing away from the “official” Oswald story.

And when taken as a whole, held to the light, facts and evidence point to the Central Intelligence Agency as the likely killers of our country’s 35th president.  I could dive in here with all I have, or I could back up, recall how I got here.  The latter course seems wise, as the treacherous forest of November 22, 1963 is best navigated without emotion, when inspecting for legal guilt or innocence.

***

I grew up on the military right wing.  My father was Navy, his brothers were Navy.  One of them was Chief of Naval Operations from 1982-5, then went on to serve as George H.W. Bush’s Secretary of Energy.  That is right wing.  That is as right as you get.

On that extreme right wing you will find sympathy for war, covert operations, secrets and anything thought to contribute to “National Security.”  When Iraq invaded Kuwait, and Bush put American soldiers there to fight, I cried “Gung Ho!!” and “Go get’em, boys!!!”  And if the JFK assassination ever came up in conversation or thought, I saw two sides to the issue, one blaring—one a distant murmur.

The blaring “truth” to me at the time was that Lee Harvey Oswald killed Kennedy, because it was in my textbook, and my family never disputed this claim.  I had not studied, nor had little use or care regarding the law, constitutional or otherwise that might frown upon condemning a man as guilty of a crime without a trial.

I mentioned a “distant murmur,” and that was this wacky conspiracy theory group of “kooks,” always worried about stuff, never accepting what the government told them.  Those weirdos didn’t want to go and win wars like Trump, were communists or close to it, and nothing they said really mattered.

***

Then I got sober in March of 2002.  Before that, I had a spiritual awakening in 1995, so had begun to adore truth.  Some twelve years into my sobriety, Oliver Stone’s JFK was playing repeatedly on HBO, and of course I repeatedly passed it up, knowing Stone to be one of “those conspiracy kooks.”

The CIA had me, I later understood.  All their propaganda, the pains they take to infiltrate media, something they prided themselves in abroad and at home—from influencing Latin American elections to blaming Kennedy for the murder of a Vietnamese head of state.

I was locked into the hype and hoopla of American exceptionalism;  that we were the greatest country on earth.  It must be true because my government and military told me so…  But when that dang JFK movie aired for the fourth time in four days on my television, my spiritual recovery told me to open my mind and watch it.

On October 24, 2014 I had a Political Awakening while watching Oliver Stone’s JFK.  I was not yet Convinced of the facts around the JFK murder;  I was now just interested, shocked by the plausible story I was watching that painted the U.S. Government in a shady light.  The Oswald story began to look like the terd that it is, and I started to investigate.

The Road to “Convinced:”

There are two major primers to apply, if you wanted to follow my personal path to becoming convinced of Oswald’s innocence and CIA’s guilt for the murder of JFK:

1.  Watch JFK by Oliver Stone.  Good overview, and an entertaining way to start.

2.  Read On the Trail of the Assassins by Jim Garrison, and browse A Farewell to Justice by Joan Mellon.  You might not be convinced yet, if you do those primer steps.  But you will be ready for…

***Mark Lane:

Read Rush to Judgment, and you will become convinced before you are half-way through, that CIA killed Kennedy.  I wrote this piece, after I had finished Rush to Judgment:

The Coup of 1963

It’s very hard to become more convinced than “convinced,” but of course one keeps studying, investigating and verifying.  I moved on to Mark Lane’s second book, A Citizen’s Dissent;  it was while reading it that I first considered writing a movie screenplay about Mark, his defense of Oswald, and indicting CIA.

Before writing anything, though, I started reading Mark Lane’s third book, Plausible Denial.  It was by reading this book that I could feel more confident publishing against CIA and on behalf of the framed Lee Harvey Oswald.

Plausible Denial was damning to CIA and Howard Hunt.  The trial that it depicted was Hunt v. Liberty Lobby (1985 in Miami, Florida)—in which a jury sided with Lane that CIA and Hunt were involved in the JFK murder.

http://www.libertylobby.org/articles/2000/20000207cia.html

You may not know about Hunt v. Liberty Lobby, because that is how the CIA likes it.

In that case, the testimony of Marita Lorenz was introduced.  Marita had nothing materially to gain by putting herself on a hit list, but offered the truth out of her conscience to right past wrongs.  Though I was already convinced before reading her deposition, her placement of CIA’s Howard Hunt, Frank Sturgis and Anti-Castro Cuban CIA shooters in Dallas on November 21, 1963—Hunt the bagman…

Was the nail in the CIA coffin for this “job.”

The half-sick, half-patriotic organization that began half a ruse on the White House steps in 1946, with their cloak and dagger ceremony, had finally been hurt and scared enough to off the President of the United States, their supposed boss.  Kennedy had threatened to dismantle the CIA after the Bay of Pigs failure, had fired superspy Allen Dulles, the godfather of American espionage.

Kennedy was talking “peace” everywhere he went, closing the divide between black and white, Soviet red and our red, white and blue.  He was not even going to allow CIA their Vietnam.  He had to “go,” Hunt and others diabolically decided.  So some Anti-Castro Cubans and CIA killers shot and killed JFK, cowardly from behind some bushes, covered with police and Secret Service uniforms;  and of course aided by the complicit Dallas Police Department, whose mayor was the Kennedy-fired Deputy CIA Head Charles Cabell’s brother, Earle.

Oswald’s affiliation with FBI kept Hoover in line, CIA mapping out a cover-up, putting Allen Dulles in the middle of Johnson’s Warren Commission to protect the agency from any close scrutiny.  Obfuscating, hiding, destroying and “classifying” documents.  CIA omerta and promises of “national security.”  Every criminal organization has to have a legitimate front and plausible deniability, so there you go…

***

This article should not have convinced you that CIA killed John F. Kennedy, but I hope there is a map laid out for those who seek to find.  And to the CIA:  God bless you to better.

Good Bye Los Angeles!!

Some Thoughts Before I Go:

-by Bill Watkins 4/24/2017

***

God, give me the wisdom
to say something of value.

Amen.

***

Greetings, “Los Angeles,”—a Tongva/Gabrielino land.

We cannot always look forward, or up at the next skyscraper or project.

It is wise to look back, to make sure our past is okay.  Mended and tightly made!

***

Wherever native peoples are buried, we must have recognition, designated posts and plaques, remembrance of the first caretakers of God’s land.

We should now and forever, institute SPACE on our panels and councils FOR NATIVE PEOPLE TO JOIN AND PARTICIPATE.

For the Los Angeles City Council, for instance, TWO seats should be made available for First Peoples to fill.

Those seats would not be voted in by the public, but by Native Councils—like the Los Angeles Native American Indian Commission.

The County Board of Supervisors should reserve at least one seat for this purpose…

***

We have inherited other evils besides native neglect, like the sin of slavery committed so many years ago.  No matter how much time passes, a sin will fester and cause problems until it is examined and amends are made.

Every “American” should reflect on what is the proper reparation to offer African-descended people, who can claim descendancy to people brought here in chains against their will.

Emotional debts must be paid, just as financial ones—if we are to be a thriving community.

***

With a proper council that includes native people, and with a mind to repair past sins to African Americans and anyone else wronged by government policies:

It would be time to clean up the city and county of Los Angeles, and to budget the enforcement of every law and code on the books.

Right now, it is obvious that many codes are not enforced.

And aiming especially at Education:

NONE OF THE CODE IS CURRENTLY TAUGHT IN SCHOOL.

We need to Teach Law, if we hope that the community will Obey and Respect the Law.  (https://travelingpoet.net/first-step-education/)

I have personally taught law and law code to Children ages five and up!!  It can be done. It must be done.  (https://travelingpoet.net/2014/04/01/law-dragons/)

Here is the little book I have begun for this purpose:  Law For Kids

***

We could do so much more.  We could be so much more.

We could have clean streets and sidewalks, metros, metro platforms.

And Clean is Safe!  Ask my dad, John F. Watkins of forty-plus years in the Steel Business.

We could expand City Personnel to include job offers to homeless and formerly homeless—BEGIN A PEDESTRIAN STREET CLEANING CORPS!!!!

CLEAN L.A.

***

Mayor visits to Dodger games, spouting about sports and Funding PARTIES must be curbed in favor of mass Clean-up efforts, Law education, noise reduction, and a Budget overhaul of both the City and County resources.

Let us move away from controversial, unproven, non-universally accepted Health and Science concepts.

To push non-emergency western “health care” on citizens should be outlawed in the same way that the Church and State are separated.

“Health” is defined by all differently.  (https://travelingpoet.net/2017/03/23/what-is-health/)

The same could be said for “religion.”

So, Government:  Stay out of it.

Build us roads, infrastructure.

Keep trying at Security, and study real defense/martial arts—keep moving away from lethal weapons.

Killing is Never Defense.  (https://travelingpoet.net/2016/03/07/the-old-argument/)

***Adopt a fifty-fifty budget (City of Los Angeles — Budget Proposal)—keep it simple!!!  May we stop playing God with Government funds, pray to one, fix some roads and PAY OUR DEBTS!!!

Start and end with prayer.  With supplication to the Great Spirit, to “God,” to a Higher Power than us; consult with native peoples, and invoke wisdom.

***

Fireworks and Noise:

Please, God, help us Put the Foot Down on Illegal fireworks.

Help us Re-Think Helicopters and Sirens.

The loud, metal, brutal force of industry kills the healing peace of our land in its natural state.

Help us all to see the poor philosophy of “helping” a household or individual with a robbery by KILLING THE PEACE IN A TEN MILE RADIUS with loud airplanes and sirens.

Our authorities are supposed to Keep the Peace, not destroy it.

Shhh!  God is working a masterpiece.  (https://travelingpoet.net/2014/01/22/chess/)

Bad things happen.  Do not make bad things worse by making a bunch of noise.

I challenge emergency services to take a walk in the woods and reflect on Real Health.  No person should consume flammable liquids.  Start your safety program there, by Never “drinking” alcoholic beverages.

Most emergencies come from carelessness and diabolical drinks/drugs.

Abstain and join me in more quiet, respectful living!

***

(Another reason to be wary of Dodger Games, Mr. Mayor, and Laker support.  Sports are full of gambling (money+emotions), Alcohol rampant.)

Focus on our roads, sidewalks, adopt a more humble face, and one not so easy to sell himself and Los Angeles:

Especially when this place is so dirty.

Trash litters in every direction, from gutters to sidewalks, to our Metro services—often the first look we give tourists.

Yesterday, I could hardly see the pay screen at a Gold Line pay kiosk, through the dirt, grime and graffiti.

We need an adequate PLAN, just like with fireworks, to stamp out that problem.

We need to expand City Personnel, START HIRING EVEN DAY WORKERS!!

“We need bodies,” I have heard the Animal Services Department utter.

Stop looking for perfection, favorites, or someone for a thirty year tenure and GET PEOPLE OUT WORKING TODAY!!!!!!

The Homeless doesn’t have to be a problem.

They are a Work Force, waiting to be tapped!!!!

***

So decide. Decide, like I did, when I gave up DRINKING a flammable, volatile chemical “sold” as DRINK fifteen years ago.

Start caring about yourself and others, as I did, when I took that step toward health. (https://travelingpoet.net/2014/03/14/you-learn-to-care/)

Read and study the Native way, read Kent Nerburn’s great collection, a cheap buy online that will change your life:

https://www.google.com/webhp?sourceid=chrome-instant&ion=1&espv=2&ie=UTF-8#q=the+wisdom+of+native+americans

***

I am off to Livingston, Montana—Crow Country.

Please keep a prayer and thought for me, and when you do, let Tongva Nation help you in Los Angeles.

Let the Gabrielino Tribe rise to help you protect this land.

Hoist up the L.A. Native American Indian Commission, and may it vote into reserved spots key players in determining wise courses of action.

God is real.  Call it by any name you choose.  That is not religion, which is organized.  Spirituality, your walk with God—is yours.  Bring its rewards, wisdom and charity, into your council chambers and bring God, Spirit, and Nature back to this community.

Quiet our sirens and choppers, and hear the parrots, escaped from that South Pasadena store fire so long ago.

Smile.

After we clean up, take in a ballgame, but not until we clean up, and enforce every code on our books.

Dissolve the heliport in favor of a great foot patrol outpost.

A non-lethal, giving one.

—Love and Highest Peace
Forever.

The CIA, Killing Kennedy, Covering it Up;
Russia, Trump and the U.S. Now

-by Bill Watkins 3/15/2017

***

Get the log out of your own eye, before you get the splinter out of your brother’s eye.
–Matthew 7:5

We overreact to “now.”

We so easily neglect history, the past, our past. We forget that we said “okay” to indoctrinating a cloak and dagger covert CIA in 1947 on the White House steps.

Through a diabolical covert CIA, the United States manipulated free election processes in Guatemala, Chile, Vietnam and El Salvador to name a few.

The late great Mark Lane proved rightly to a jury in Miami, 1985, that Howard Hunt and CIA killed our own president, John F. Kennedy, then covered up the crime under the cold war veil of “national security” and “classified” documents.

Right now, on my TV screen is a Senate Hearing on Russia; their criminal hacking and manipulation of democracies, including ours.

A great process!! Go get ‘em!!!

BUT LET’S NOT FORGET KENNEDY. LET’S NOT FORGET OUR OWN PAST OF COVERT WORLD MANIPULATION.

We will get far better results at transparency, honesty, crime detection and fighting BY STARTING WITH OURSELVES.

Unlock and declassify documents that have nothing to do with national security.

JFK documents, and many “classified” matters are such to secure not our nation but CIA security—their jobs, the continuance of a “mission” that is one half good, one half bad:

The Good:

1. Preempt threats and further US national security objectives by collecting intelligence that matters, producing objective all-source analysis.

The Bad:

2. Conduct effective covert action as directed by the President, and safeguarding the secrets that help keep our Nation safe.

And the Ugly?

Forgetting the past.

JFK, Kennedy

The Budget is failing us.

Safety Last was not just a Harold Lloyd
movie, the clock stuck on political corruption
past twelve;

Harold reaching the summit impossibly
with one arm raised.

We promise to be gods as we rise
to the top, spend millions on ourselves,
“Vote For Me,” as our sidewalks
crack, and wear and breakdown—

Another day in the city, elections
coming up again.

Should we let a child vote, or send them
to the kids’ table to write graffiti and
join the local gangs?

I was ready by eight, Reagan against
Carter—pass me the ball, I know
what I like and want, I wanna vote,
I wanna help, let me in, let me in
Let me in, Please!

I want to begin!

By eighteen I’m drinking alcohol—burning
out on it, actually, middle finger
in the air, you could have
had me when I cared,

But missed me.

How many kids are we missing?

How many immigrants want to help,
but we make citizenship a matter of
place and time instead of Merit!

Take and pass a test!! You want to be
a part of and help our country, STEP UP!!

Age? Country of Origin?

Who cares about that, if a willing helpful
hand wants in to help?

Corrupt since Adam and Eve? Genocide
in the Philippines? World War I propaganda
and censorship of anti-war voices?

Killing Kennedy, covering up facts,
sitting on evidence—claiming “National
Security,” Big Brother?

Buying your way to political seats, getting
so fat you cannot even SEE my sidewalk.

When was the last time you huffed it on
our pavement, sans-tinted glass and
SUV’s, Mr. President down to City
Councils and Mayors, go fish with your
inflated salaries and dishonest campaign
casualties,

the ultimate loser, the tax payer—paying
for every corrupt act.

Then the police come and arrest the wrong
hack, because a neighborhood rose in
one voice against goodness, truth and law.

Wide is the path to Destruction, and many are on
it. Lying makes you average, Truth at risk
of rocking boats and padded cells, prepared
for you the moment the silver-spoon fed mayor
decides to skimp on infrastructure and Safety.

He spends on “Health” and Public Zoos, goes to
Dodger games, takes pictures with the famous.

The sirens and helicopters roar without a war,
as we finally figure out that shooting people
in the torso is not self-defense.

God Bless us back to the 10 commandments,
the Tao Te Ching.

Never bear false witness, number
nine on God’s list, Heaven
still on the line—

We can win this thing!

Born we never hurt;
vulnerable, loving, wondering…

We get scared once, twice, grow
up scared so many times, you make
a pact with the Devil to take
revenge on big bullying small,
justify to yourself and others when
you buy a gun, get trained in uniform
to KILL, throwing out a thought the
Bible or Torah instilled in you to
be “good” and turn the other cheek
to evil… forgive.

We may get hurt in this life; some
are confused, have walked too far away
from the infancy of innocence, forget
that the whole journey is about
staying young, fighting for innocence.

Our Anger is Devil-born, is from Evil,
and so a community is wise to stop
justifying it and its guns—bent on killing,
taking revenge for the pain, the fear felt,
preempting threats with shots through
the torso, awaiting a friend-in-Evil,
Satan beating that drum, calling it all
“Justifiable homicide…” What a game,
you think you win when you lied,

But oh the turns that take, as you
lie awake, the face of the murdered in
yours, you know there is a heaven, even
if only Peace of Mind, knowing
you did your best.

You could have believed in your fellow
man or woman, sought some good out
even in their worst moment.

You played God and not only judged
them as not worthy but killed.

And now they return to you in
nightmares and visions, God’s way of
saying: “Thou shalt not kill…” Your crime
has a punishment whether courts find
you guilty or not.

Two roads diverged in the heat
of a Los Angeles day: kill the apparent
killer or forgive.

One road to heaven, the other to Hell,
make up your mind now; I hope you
make it well
