10. Urinate.  Everyone’s gotta do it.

9. Fornicate.  Not everyday, and stop short of hurting others or breaking up families.  Just get into a little trouble, have a life experience.

8. Masturbate.  Not a good habit overall, but fine en lieu of constant banging of keys on a computer looking for perfection that will never cum.

7. Fornicate and Masturbate at the Same time.  It’s done every day; I mean, some guys I know can’t finish without touching themselves a bit.

6. Try a Sport.  You’re a nerd, so bad at most things, but I hear Cal Tech has a great Ultimate Frisbee Team—why not you?

5. Wash/Bathe.  Zits are the result of over-calculating on your computer, in grimy, stuffy office or home conditions.  One should wash after masturbation, too.

4. Sing a Song.  Earth, Wind & Fire did this, had no zits, got laid often and had fun.  You can too, if you only get off your computers a few minutes a day.

3. Fly to the Moon.  And take your most stubborn updaters with you.

2. Wipe your private areas.  Sometimes I suspect constant updating of programs comes from lack of confidence in the bathroom.

1. HAVE FUN!!  Nerds: We love you, but ease up on the computing, at least every seventh day like the Hebrew God.  May your updates be so good, they last two years.  Give us hack users a break, and let us work on programs we mortals are happy with before you change them every seven hours.  Thanks!!!!!!!

Really Happy

God bless you.

Your noise is alarming. Could I entice you to change careers? Live better? Walk more?

Despite the odd craft dropping water on forest fires, I wish upon you all the enlightenment needed to ground yourselves in a better, quieter life.

Earth is the right place for love: I don’t know where it’s likely to go better.
—Robert Frost

Definitely not up there!!!

Your selling nature and peace out over time is a sad “American” story. The campfires that used to unify a humble people in story and hope burns your fuel recklessly, as you speed past God to self-will running rampant and loud not up but downward toward the Hell of our Industrial making.

Get out of your helicopters. Turn away from noise and evil. Suffer the short term pain of a job lost, money not earned, and head toward the righteous path—the long-term gains of doing God’s will.

Be quiet.

God and love await our return to nature. We cannot see or hear God nor God’s message with your horrible noise pollution buzzing in our ears.

God bless us to better!!!!

In quotes, because a person, or series of human beings are reading this letter, not an organization.

Organizations don’t read, countries don’t hack computers. People do.

I use a similar argument when dealing with “gang” crime in Los Angeles. The gang didn’t commit the crime, young man. You did.

Our organizations have “codes” but overriding them all in this country are national, state and local laws.

No one is above them.

***

Covert, secret ops not known to the people of the United States is, over time: illegal in a “democracy.”

Democracy appears in quotes because that government system is misnamed. “People-rule” is impossible. We can never rule this planet, our land or the universe alone. We are not that powerful. No person is in charge during an earthquake or tsunami; we have to take the losses—

Why “God” and Higher Power are still great entities, concepts, and targets for prayer and supplication. (acts of the humble)

Humility itself is a Good thing. I learned of the word deeply in the process of rooting alcohol-as-drink out of my life, starting in 1995, my last drink of the toxic liquid in 2002.

To us AA’s and in some dictionaries, you will find “humility” defined as knowing your place in the world. A realistic view, that finds you in true perspective: That there is a great Power in the universe. That You are NOT IT.

You can win a battle or two over the Power, feel control by judging or killing others. By playing war games, and treating human beings as cattle, their murders as means to some diabolical end.

And in stepping into rifle position, a war control room, buttons at disposal to decide someone or a group’s “life or death,” their physical fate: there is for some a rush that comes from control/manipulation, a feeling of “superiority” through defeating another in competitive battle.

***

The problem is: if winning or losing is the aim, LOSS is always chosen when murder, death and war is chosen.

From the Tao Te Ching:

31
Weapons are the tools of violence;
all decent men detest them.

Weapons are the tools of fear;
a decent man will avoid them
except in the direst necessity
and, if compelled, will use them
only with the utmost restraint.
Peace is his highest value.
If the peace has been shattered,
how can he be content?
His enemies are not demons,
but human beings like himself.
He doesn’t wish them personal harm.
Nor does he rejoice in victory.
How could he rejoice in victory
and delight in the slaughter of men?

He enters a battle gravely,
with sorrow and with great compassion,
as if he were attending a funeral.

That wisdom from 600 B.C. is lost on an angry militant in love with guns, murder, war and death from a young age.

To that group, Jesus of Nazareth would only warn that “to live by the gun” results in “dying by the gun.”

And God bless them!! A tough road to see so darkly into themselves and their worth—that murder and killing of other people “makes sense.”

My poem on CIA, Crime, and Murder:

Belly of the Beast

We should have nothing to do
with conquest.
–Thomas Jefferson

America’s number one crime family
is CIA, the conquest instinct
alive and kicking as the Devil
rocks excited, kicking up dust manifest
towards suffocating destiny.

I love you, don’t get me wrong:

the sinner in me not far from
my steps, I was a drunk high on
alcoholic beverages, C2H5OH
ethyl not Lucy—flammable and
volatile, a first fuel for
rockets…

Down the hatch, no way to catch—
you had to ask God, Something big
and powerful in prayer.

(But it was so much easier to join
a gang. For me it was almost the
Pasadena Bloods, wearing red putting
hands up against the night. Red
clothes, red SUV—tinted and pretty.
Instant Family!!!)

That’s how the CIA does it as well,
Mafioso-like recruitment in your
lonely hour needing friends.

A “purpose…”

Even if that purpose is evil, it justifies
itself in group therapy and togetherness,
we’re all together in this mess!!!

Raise your glass to lack of tenderness;
it’s “National Security” that will veil
our silliness.

Grown men and women tip-toeing
around spreading lies, propaganda and
reasons foreign leaders must die, so
we can get paid “killing” them, even if
ideas and spirit never die.

The mob and gang mentality is similar
in our highest criminal courts, who
accept at times the misnamed
“cui bono” (who benefits) AS IF FROM
A MURDER OF ANOTHER HUMAN BEING
ANYONE, ANYTIME…

BENEFITS.

No one wins with murder. Murder is just
murder. A lost spirit. A lost potential.

A lost set of ideas and actions, that perhaps
you do not like now; they oppose you
or your plans to own, or financially gain
or win some short term prize.

But TO MURDER. To Murder a foreign
“leader,” a man or woman from man and
woman like you, a fellow trudger on this
earth, a brother or sister who played in
a sandbox like you did.

Maybe they lacked that opportunity.

We can love, seek to understand over
always being understood; we can open
up and learn another point of view.

Bend or break! The killer, conquering
instinct from Satan not God, no matter
what you call it, from a “business move”
to “national security.”

Evil is evil, killing killing, and killing is never
national or self-defense.

***

That may be my last American poem.

I plan to move east soon into Crow land, get a job while my writing tries to succeed.

Then to England, if they’ll have me.  Where my forefathers were born, those three Welsh Watkins brothers hauling over on the “Jamestown” expedition in 1606/7.

I put a lot of quotes on things, I know.  The last set for “Jamestown,” for when you think about it: what a vain and sick thing to do, to come into another people’s land and start naming it after your home king.

More about Native America and other poems of mine at http://www.travelingpoet.net.

I’ll sign off with a pledge of service to CIA as a humble writer who could help you find humility on Twitter and in your Mission Statement.

Humility should be a goal, as America waits for the 3000+ JFK docs in October.

You are on Earth already.  Might as well admit it, come down to it, and become an upstanding information service, drop the cloaks/daggers, shake hands with the world at UN and be a part of that 1945 charter for World Peace.  (At Last)

Good luck transitioning to Peace.  As a sober drunk, I have become a master of sober peaceful days starting with a God-directed daily schedule.  I write “Sleep” at the end of every schedule.

That is humility.

Love and Peace…

10. Do Nothing. It’s better than doing something bad.

9. Make a Schedule for Today.  Pray to “God” or some kind of Higher Power that is Peaceful and that you associate with goodness and love.  Put that Power in Charge.

8. Take a Walk.  In Nature.  Outside.  Get away from computers and cars, cellphones and tablets—all technology.

7. Review old Wisdom and Laws like the Ten Commandments. Thou shalt not Kill. Thou shalt not Lie. Thou shalt not Covet. (encompassed in saying, “Thou shalt not Covert”)

6. Review the Tao Te Ching, which will help you value inaction, inactivity and #1 on this list.

5. Root Alcohol “as drink” out of your life, any mind-altering drugs. A thorough review and understanding of the Ten Commandments will demonstrate that to go to drugs or alcohol over God is a sin, and will hurt you and others long-term.

4. Endure some short-term “pain.” The pain will pass. If that pain is poverty because you said no to a covert, illegal job = Good. You are on a positive path, and good things are on the way. #Karma

3. Pray again.

2. Commit to a clean, good, sober life—perhaps not of riches, travel and glory but of gratitude, love and thinking of others.

1. Stay away from evils like hacking computers, spying on people, telling lies or committing violence as you would keep your hands from a hot stove. Choose God over Devil, feel short term pain to experience long term joy and gains!!!

Two Hours Gay

-by Bill Watkins 3/30/2017

Gay Rights Flag

Once, I was “gay” for two hours.

In around 1999, I was checked into a psych ward, not for sexuality but for mass confusion, depression and suicidal tendencies.

Finally one day closer to 2002, it became clear that the only thing wrong with me was alcoholism.  That I needed to stop all and any use of mind-altering chemicals like alcohol, drugs, and self-pity.

But at the time, I was in the psych ward, on the first floor, talking to a social worker.  She was a nice, portly lady, and we had a good talk by the side of my bed.

We had our own rooms at that place, so you know it was expensive.

Didn’t make it fun.  A strange up and down time.  My mom visited me with a book of poetry I have since lost.  Couldn’t be better than the one Grandma had at her house before she died.  Had I been more alert at the time of her death, I would have asked somebody for Grandma’s poetry books.

Someone brought my guitar, too.  Could have been that time or another, come to think—I lived in psych wards off and on for a couple years.

***

The social worker and I were talking, and I got into my story.

Realizing that I was a poet, loved musical theater, and was a twenty-nine year old virgin with a long list of romantic failures with the opposite sex, we both decided that:

“I might be gay.”

Now, mind you, we were in use of the modern “gay” meaning homosexual.

It’s weird that word was hijacked back in the ‘70’s.  One that used to mean “happy.”

It beat the shortened four-letter deal they were calling homosexual people, and it stuck I suppose.

I used to take the word “gay” on the comedy stage with me, declaring myself a very gay man, citing all the ways I was happy and that I wanted the word back for heterosexual use!!

“Give us our word back, man!!!”

***

So, there I was.

A James Taylor-like Takamine acoustic guitar behind us with great action—my first guitar—on the bed, deciding my sexual truth and/or fate.

I decided to try “gay” on a bit.

I walked away from the meeting with the social worker, declaring my gayness to a few people around the fancy psych facility.

It seemed easy, at least easier than performing as a heterosexual man.

There is more act, more effort involved, I think—in being heterosexual.  It’s not like you can declare your heterosexuality and get a lot of attention.

You were not joining a small club, but an expected state of humanity.

***

After a two-hour walk around with my new sexual status, I felt okay, but came back to my room before dinner at the nice cafeteria with awesome salad bar.

I was learning Tagalog from the Filipino cook, the dinner a show of sorts and I entertained a bit, under usual circumstances.

But gay Bill seemed calmer, more withdrawn, even shy.  To myself more, to be sure.

I did what all proper alcoholics in recovery do, even though I was not fully sober yet:

I prayed about it.

God,

Do you want me Gay,
or Heterosexual?

Gay was easy, could be a fun couple years, but I foresaw a disease and short life.

Heterosexuality was difficult, took hard work, and smacked me in the mouth with my historic failures, leaving me an old virgin.

But more God was in that road, and I saw a longer life…

So, I re-chose heterosexuality, and did not turn back, except for the odd thought—which I welcome as a challenge.

The thoughts I would really like to get rid of are my goofy memories from playing high-level volleyball in the past.

I used to think, if I could do it all over again, without drinking alcohol on Dad’s lap at five, drinking it with friends by twelve, blacking out by fourteen and messing up my life—that substance killing loved ones:

I would have been a triple threat entertainer like Fred Astaire.

And my sport would have been hiking and nature, camping and fishing.

***

Now, after my Native American studies, and studies of my family background, I consider:

What if I had been born in cosmically native Wales, United Kingdom, where the Watkins family came from and thrived before invading America in 1607?

I would have been nature.  I would have been One with my land, as the Native Americans are with this one between the Atlantic and Pacific, even though we have temporarily displaced many of them by violent force.  I would have gloried in God and nature, walked as one with it all, and I would have written great songs and poems about my love.

God,

Grant our nations peace.

Grant us the wisdom to listen to the
old wise truths of the ages.

The Ten Commandments, the
Tao Te Ching, pre-religion wisdom from
first peoples like Native Americans.

People who could watch, see
and be a part of nature—learn
from it, be one with the streams,
rivers, waterfalls and prairies.

Help us LORD, to stay on the wise
path of the child.

Keep us in truth.  Keep us in
youthful excitement for learning
and wonder.

Help us to learn from the master
Rabi, who advised we “turn the other
cheek” to aggression.

The Hindu master, who resisted oppression
with peaceful protest, the African
American who copied that approach
to resist hate and injustice.

Help us, God, to be our true selves:

Loving, hopeful, peaceful and most
of all, Grateful for this gift called Life.

Amen.

I am sorry for my people.

We heeded the Devil, and made “conquering” a part of our goals, which is a bad instinct.

We are punished daily, for our crimes of stealing land that does not belong to us.

Kanekuk, the Kikapoo prophet said wisely that neither does the land belong to native peoples.

It belongs to the Great Spirit, to God Him or Herself.

***

However, that land was given by God to the Native peoples.

And it was not right for my people from Europe, to take it by force.

***

I am leaving.

Bound back for Europe to my homeland in England.

My people left the land of my forefathers over 400 years ago, came here, and usurped land not belonging to us.

And now the land suffers beyond most people’s understanding, in the form of horrible noise pollution, trash, crime, metals and cement blocking our walk with God in nature.

***

Please pray for me, and thank you for having me in your land for so long.

Rise up, using legal language and means, and reclaim your birthright, so that I might visit again years from now to see a thriving land, us the people serving and in harmony with it.

***

I hope my removal serves God, you and this land which will surely know that a strong Welshman from across the ocean came here 400+ years ago, stayed too long, but finally realized his mistake and is making amends.

God forgive us our sins, and God reward Native American peoples for teaching us so much, the lesson I will take home the most important:

We are a part of God’s land, the one given to us.

Highest Peace, Thanks, and Apologies with Highest Hope for your Revival of the Land upon My Departure!

—Love and Great Spirit, my Heart to this Land and to you, its Caretakers!

Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump, Jeff Sessions, Joy, Love, Peace

-by Bill Watkins 3/25/2017

Trump3

According to top sources in and out of the White House, Donald Trump is here to stay.

Further research, though, into Hunch and Conviction has yielded different findings:

That, perhaps, Donald Trump has had enough and is eagerly looking for an exit strategy.

Hunch informed a Little Bird, who made his way past loud helicopters, sirens and all the horrible noise of cities to whisper earnestly of Trump’s first “resignation” discussion with family this weekend.

The news comes in the wake of great disappointment and loss, FBI investigations and Flying Nunes Acts.  “Pulling a Nunes” has, in fact, become a term on The Hill for “confusing the living whodad out of everybody.”

Things really got bad when Conviction reported desperate handshakes between the wounded president and his reclusive recused Attorney General, Jeff Sessions.

Late Friday night, according to White House aides Mo and Schmo, Sessions and Trump relived the salad days of their Russian-aided campaign, playing old VHS-quality videos of rallies, trying to stir themselves and staff with a “Lock Her Up” chant.

Looking around, they remembered their fired friend Michael Flynn, and it made them too sad.

Trump reached for the popcorn, smiled at his bucket of KFC, stating somberly:

“We had a good run, didn’t we?”

Sessions started to well up, cleared his throat for a speech, but went in again for one of those monster handshakes.

Too bad America can’t appreciate Jeff Sessions’ Mr. Dick-like qualities, leave him alone on questions of racism and dishonesty in public hearings.

“You really are a great guy!” Trump asserted, prepping for another big manly handshake before Ivanka came in to remind the boys that it was “time for bed.”

As the new White House babysitter left, Trump snickered at Jeff.

“She really is quite attractive isn’t she?”

Sessions cleared his throat again, sure to come up with something great this time.

Instead went in for another shake, Trump grabbing him warmly.

Mid-embrace, Donald managed:

“Gosh, Jeff.  This is nice.”

They crammed down some last minute Pizza Hut morsels, ejected the campaign tape, considered throwing in their Brokeback Mountain DVD, but aborted to Ivanka’s reprimand from outside the oval office door.

“Come on, boys!!”

And that was it.  But not before Trump got deep with his campaign crony, one more time:

“I think we got about two weeks before the wheels come off, Jeff.  And I want you to know: It was worth it.”

Jeff cleared that throat, sure the right words would emerge this time.

The last thing Ivanka heard on her way down the hall was the clap of hands between her loving father and his buddy, Jeff.

That Devin Nunes greeted her from a service elevator at that moment completed a wonderful picture of fear, collusion, brotherhood and lies.

Nunes said the words Ivanka craved:

“Should I put another log on the fire?”

And only the White House knew what he meant.  And that was the plan.

For two more weeks.

Time’s Michael Scherer Got It

-by Bill Watkins 3/24/2017

Michael's Nail

***

The wiretap logic debate started with something Reuters correspondent Ayesha Rascoe put in her question to White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer on March 7th:

Trump made “declarative” statements on Twitter accusing the previous president, then asked Congress to… “PROVE IT?”

Trump Declarative Twitter Statement #1: (3-4-2017)

Terrible! Just found out that Obama had my “wires tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory.

Trump Declarative Twitter Statement #2:

This is Nixon/Watergate. Bad (or sick) guy!

***

Now, the world minus Donald Trump seemed to think those tweets were inaccurate from the moment they were made.

The White House offered British intelligence meddling as a smokescreen at one point, conjuring James Bond, but as happens to so many Trump claims over the years—the smoke cleared to reveal a baseless claim.  And a British rebuke.

Lack of evidence plagues a troubled Trump who on March 4th tweeted that last bit of darkness out of a lonely Florida sky, a day after filmed arguments at the White House.

A day after Sessions “recused” himself to avoid getting fired for lying to Congress about Russian meetings.

A day after right wing babbling on Obama’s desire to bring Donald Trump down a peg, even through illegal means.

***

Michael Scherer’s interview yesterday confirmed what many already knew, that the beleaguered subject of a current FBI counter-intelligence investigation sitting in the White House had made up his March 4th tweets, without evidence.

Early in his interview Scherer traveled a strange promotional gamut with Trump revolving around the self-proclaimed master dealmaker’s strange abilities to predict future events.

Among other grandiose claims, Trump predicted House Intelligence Committee Chairman Devin Nunes would have new information on “wiretapping” soon.  Was that because Trump himself had initiated the unorthodox Nunes play?

Mr. Trump diverted toward this bash of Time magazine, mixed with self-praise:

And then TIME magazine, which treats me horribly, but obviously I sell, I assume this is going to be a cover too, have I set the record? I guess, right? Covers, nobody’s had more covers.

Scherer didn’t give, issued the apparent 2016 beneficiary of a Russian cyber-attack on Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign this pregnant push:

If you go back to Comey testifying that he and the Justice Department have no information to back up your tweet, the head of the NSA testifying that there is no information to back up your tweet, or the claim made by Judge Napolitano…

Trump got angry, cited a January 20th New York Times story that mentioned “wiretapping,” berated his interviewer Mr. Scherer, making another prediction that the Time writer would “write a bad article because you always do.”

Michael pushed, just as Trump was re-selling another repeated prognostication about Nunes’ new wiretapping information:

And then they just had a news conference now where they turned out, you watch. You watch.

Michael:

That is different than the president wiretapping you which would be a crime outside of a court.

And that was it.

Michael Scherer went into the history books yesterday because of Donald Trump’s next admission, under pressure from what he would call “the fake news media.”

It could have been Peter Alexander, Hallie Jackson, Ayesha Rascoe, Margaret Brennan, Glenn Thrush, Jonathan Karl, John Roberts, or any other noble reporter—who had all been close to pushing Trump and Spicer over the edge into that most scary place for some inhabiting 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue:  Truth.

But it was Michael Scherer of Time magazine who got his subject to finally break.

Trump was cornered, but did not know it.

Lawyers, Journalists and Cops worth their salt know logic.  Know discrepancies in story. Know fallacies in argument.  And pounce when they do.

Trump:

Well I don’t know where these wiretaps came from.  They came from someplace.  That is what they should find out.

***

To recap, Mr. Trump began with a couple clear declarative Twitter statements on March 4th that accused the former president, Barack Obama, of wiretapping him.

And that he was a “Bad (or sick) guy.”

Scherer helped us find out Trump is full of it again, and we might soon find out more of how he cheated with Russians to beat a strong Hillary Clinton in the compromised 2016 election.

The only “Nixon/Watergate” is coming down the Dakota Pipeline, through the FBI and out Trump Tower like a neck through a noose.

We have a decent country, one that needs to pay its debts to Native America, descendants of slaves, the Kennedy family, a lot of banks, world-wide—

And now to Hillary, who Russia and probably Trump robbed in November of 2016.

On the morning of March 4th, Trump claimed to have “just found out” Obama committed a crime and that Obama was a bad (or sick) guy, then admitted to Michael Scherer yesterday, nineteen days later–that he believes in the crime, but does not know who did it.

Still no apology to Barack Obama.
