Last Year:

I was in Washington D.C., marching for peace and unity throughout the Hemisphere on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 24th/25th, 2025!  All day on Capitol Hill, focusing on the Senate!!!  Here is the brief one-page essay I handed out to 90 Senate Offices, meeting Sheldon Whitehouse — sharing my pro-lawyer joke with him.  : The Case for an American Union1

Last year’s Letter to Congress, appealing for better comportment: Dear Members of Congress-1

I was able to hand that letter out to about 350 offices in Congress, along with ten Subtracting Division T-shirts. It was fun meeting interns and a few members of Congress, including Jamie Raskin and Adam Schiff. I told a few members my favorite pro-lawyer joke: What did the lawyer say to the comic about to tell a lawyer joke? F.U.

All in all I think it went well.
